國立勤益科技大學：產學融合的典範科技學府

國立勤益科技大學（National Chin-Yi University of Technology，簡稱勤益科大或NCUT）創立於1971年，前身為私立勤益工業專科學校，於2007年改制為國立科技大學。學校位於台中市太平區，佔地約16公頃，鄰近台中精密機械科技創新園區，地理位置優越。作為台灣中部重要的技職教育重鎮，勤益科大以「勤毅誠樸」為校訓，專注於工程、電資與管理領域的人才培育。學校現有4個學院、16個系所，學生人數約9,000人，師生比優良，連續多年獲得教育部教學卓越計畫補助。

精密機械與特色學程

勤益科大以精密機械與智慧製造見長，擁有全台科技大學中最完整的智慧製造實作場域。機械工程系設有「精密機械人才培育中心」，配備五軸加工機、工業機器人等先進設備。學校特別重視產學合作，與台中精機、上銀科技等50多家企業建立「產業學院」，共同開發實務導向課程。近年更成立「智慧產業技術研發中心」，整合AIoT技術，協助傳統產業轉型。值得一提的是，勤益科大是少數設有「冷凍空調與能源系」的學校，培育台灣 HVAC 產業急需人才。

創新創業與學生發展

勤益科大積極推動創新創業教育，設立「青創基地」與「創客空間」，提供學生實踐創意的平台。學校要求所有學生畢業前需完成320小時的業界實習，並取得至少一張專業證照。校園內建置「智慧聯網實作場域」與「綠能科技示範區」，讓學生接觸最新產業技術。勤益科大的「工程與電資學院」畢業生就業率達97%，平均起薪高於全國科技大學平均值。學校也定期舉辦「創新創意競賽」與「產學成果展」，促進學生與產業界的交流互動。

The university's Mechanical Engineering Department operates Taiwan's first "Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Factory" in a technical university, featuring complete Industry 4.0 production lines. The Industrial-Academic Cooperation Center facilitates over 200 industry projects annually, allowing students to work on actual engineering challenges. NCUT's unique "1+3+1" program combines one year of foundational training, three years of specialization, and one year of paid internship, ensuring graduates are job-ready.
